Conro and Disero team up with Alice France for STMPD RCRDS anthemJuly 4, 2017
Martin Garrix’s STMPD RCRDS has fast realised its aim to become one of the electronic world’s foremost labels, and the incredible progress it has made in the space of just over a year is testament to his and his team’s relentless drive—and of course, the amazing music it keeps releasing.
This new anthem from Canadian artists Conro and Disero keeps up that unbelievably high level of quality with no small amount of help from stunning Dutch vocalist Alice France. Like You Love Me starts off with a mellow piano intro and then in the powerful, soaring-yet-melancholy chorus the vocals provide the perfect accompaniment to the fizzing synths, chopped-up beats and joyous feel of the production. With a little tropical flavour in the rhythm but more electro-style synth textures and intervals of the pianos, it has a superb mix of flavours and is faultlessly produced.
The two producers are friends from their native Kelowna, with Conro racking up over 20 million plays on Spotify for his tracks over the last year including remixes for the likes of The Chainsmokers, Afrojack, Mr Probz and for Mr. Garrix himself on Scared To Be Lonely. He played at the STMPD RCRDS label showcase at ADE 2016, while his remix of Paris Blohm’s Something About You on Revealed Recordings was chosen by ULTRA to be their ULTRA Miami 2016 anthem and aftermovie soundtrack. Disero has begun to make serious waves too, remixing the mighty Linkin Park’s recent single at their personal request.
Alice France, meanwhile, was a violinist in the Dutch National Youth orchestra before finding her feet as a singer-songwriter and studying at the Conservatory after high school. Hotly tipped in her home country, this stunning delivery is set to really put her on the map.
Watch this one fly across the summer, and look out for Conro playing at Tomorrowland, Multiply at Ushuaïa Ibiza and on tour across China!
